Such downtime do matter me as it might affect my website traffic and my web earnings. Too bad, I wasn’t prepared for such a downtime. But today, I found a free online service which can monitor your web server and inform you while your site is down.
You can go to SiteUptime to sign up for a free account. If you would like to have more features, you can sign up for a paid account also. It keeps monitoring your web server. The moment your web server is down, it will inform you immediately, so that you can do something to fix the problem or check with your web hosting provider.
